Ai Delivers Value to Rights Owners and Partners

OUR MISSION

Delivering the Future

Cycling’s key stakeholders undervalue their  rights by failing to coordinate and bundle them for distribution and sale. The current model sees individual organisers selling their broadcast and digital rights on a per event basis allowing broadcasters to cherry-pick the highest profile races and leave less well know events with no means to offer a media proposition for stakeholders and commercial partners.

Operational Excellence

Sport is one of the largest unifying threads of humanity, bringing cultures and populations together. The popularity of sport among audiences cannot be questioned. However, now, as one of many sources of entertainment, sports compete with not just other sports but also VOD content for viewer attention. As sports rights-holders battle to hold the last frontier of must-watch-live content, there are several challenges they must face.

  1. Inertia of legacy distribution infrastructure limiting their reach

  2. Need for immersive viewing experiences at home

  3. Deploying world-class services in globally distributed venues at a short notice

The need for a digital transformation partner is imminent for sporting bodies. Enabling remote production for efficiencies across multiple events, a partner to manage their IT and networking requirements globally and a distribution infrastructure that combines the virtues of fibre and IP-based delivery to support legacy satellite methods are crucial tasks. Earth Sports technology partner Tata Communications has delivered ground-breaking work to change the digital landscape of some of the biggest global sporting brands.
